VIE - (F/M/D) Project Engineer (H/F)

The Engineering Team supports the Innovation Campus Delaware R&D groups with design, risk evaluation, pre-planning, installation of experimental setups, facility systems, and capital projects. Projects typically start at conception, through design, implementation, and startup. Duties and Responsibilities: - Support researchers in the conception, development and optimization of experimental setups - Mechanical design, including layouts, piping systems, and 3D design - System integration into controls systems - Creation and review of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) - Write Technical and Standard Operating Procedures - Prepare mechanical bid design specifications - Work independently and in small teams, in a way that enhances team dynamics

Education Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or other Engineering discipline Soft and Hard Skills "Must have: -Strong safety mindset -Knowlege of computer aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCad and/or Solidworks -Highly motivated and results-driven -Self-starter with the ability to perform well under pressure -Strong organizational and planning skills Nice to have: -Knowledge of industrial gasses and gas piping systems -Ability to create P&ID and PFD for new and existing experimental systems -Ability to create budgets and funding proposals for capital projects -Project and construction management (budget and timeline) -Experience in an industrial environment -Knowledgeable about 3D design Language: English
