Context As one of S&EM front divisions, BP Clients’ mission is to manage energy sales contracts and services for large industrial accounts in Europe, known as the Giants. One of its ambitions is to be recognized by its clients as the best service provider in market management activities and energy transition services. Your Mission The VIE position will join the GOOD HPM Team within BP Clients, in the Hedging and Position Management (HPM) department. This department manages a portfolio representing a €4.5 billion turnover in 2024. The main missions of the HPM team include: Developing energy supply offers for the Giants client segment (pricing and contractual clauses) Defining and executing volume risk hedging strategies through trading entities to ensure contract profitability (Physical/Financial deals, Options, Swaps, Quanto, Insurance, etc.) Representing contracts in tracking systems Ensuring accurate short-term consumption forecasting for Power contracts Measuring the performance of management actions in collaboration with the finance team Managing various commodities in the portfolio: Power, Gas, and Certificates (GC, GoO, CVO, CRM, Biomethane, Carbon Offsets, etc.) Within the Trading Room, and in close collaboration with originators, finance, and back-office teams, you will: Manage, develop, and improve various certificates portfolios Represent sales contracts and hedges in risk tracking systems Monitor daily positions (risk, exposure, P&L) Develop monthly position management dashboards Transfer positions to teams in charge of physical delivery Ensure coordination with support functions throughout the contract lifecycle (Back & Middle Office, Controlling, IT, etc.) Describe, automate, and improve operational processes and analytical tools Support the development and implementation of digital tools Participate in daily quality controls You will also: Organize and rationalize documentation across SharePoint environments to improve clarity, efficiency, and knowledge accessibility Review existing SharePoint sites, folders, and documents Identify content to be kept, updated, archived, or removed

What We Are Looking For A motivated candidate eager to contribute to the energy transition and willing to work in a front-office environment with direct impact on the Group’s and BU’s P&L. Hard Skills Must have: Strong motivation for the energy transition High level of numeracy and strong analytical skills with a hands-on mindset Proficiency in Python, Excel VBA, and Power BI Nice to have: Knowledge of energy systems and markets Knowledge of financial products Understanding of trading and risk management Familiarity with APIs Soft Skills Team player Highly resilient Result-oriented and practical thinker Rigorous and accurate Proactive and accountable Willing to step out of your comfort zone Education & Experience Engineering degree or Business School, Master’s level Languages English and French (compulsory)
