Context To support the development of its Energy Management & Trading platform in India, we are looking for a Data & Analytics Engineer to join our growing Energy Management team. This role plays a key part in building intelligent automation solutions, decision-support tools, and robust data infrastructures for energy trading and management activities. Your Mission As a Data & Analytics Engineer, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of data-driven solutions supporting trading and energy management activities. You may occasionally be requested to perform duties outside the listed scope, depending on business needs. Key Responsibilities Automation & Data Processes - Automate data collection, ingestion, and transformation pipelines - Ensure timely and reliable delivery of market and operational data - Monitor and validate data flows (data quality, alerts, reliability) - Work closely with IT to supervise pipelines and ensure proper implementation - Act as a bridge between the Trading team and IT, providing hands-on support when needed Visualization & Tools - Build dashboards and monitoring tools using Grafana or Python-based solutions - Provide clear and actionable visual insights on market data, forecasts, and performance - Develop user-friendly tools for traders and analysts Modelling Support - Support the implementation and monitoring of forecasting models - Contribute to improving model outputs and their integration into operational tools Digital Innovation - Identify opportunities for digital automation across departments - Prototype and test new digital tools and AI applications - Stay up to date with emerging technologies in AI, automation, and data engineering Collaboration & Documentation - Work closely with cross-functional teams (IS, data scientists, analysts, business stakeholders) across Europe and Singapore - Translate business requirements into technical solutions - Document processes, models, and system architectures

Profil recherché

What We Are Looking For A technically skilled and proactive Data & Analytics Engineer with a strong interest in digital transformation, automation, and data-driven decision-making in energy markets. Hard Skills Must have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field Strong hands-on experience with Python for data processing (pandas, numpy, scripting) Experience building and maintaining data pipelines (API ingestion, transformation, scheduling) Solid knowledge of SQL and data modelling (time series, structured datasets) Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Apache Airflow) Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g. AWS: S3, Lambda, EC2 or equivalent) Experience with data visualization and monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana or Python-based dashboards) Nice to have: Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g. scikit-learn) Experience monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines in production Understanding of end-to-end data flow architectures (ingestion → processing → storage → visualization) Soft Skills Resourceful, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-evolving digital environment Strong problem-solving mindset with a results-driven approach Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to propose pragmatic business solutions Well-organized, dependable, proactive, and able to follow through on commitments Strong work ethic Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Self-organized with strong organizational skills Education & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
