Junior Cloud Engineer (H/F)

Stratocore is the leading Core Facility Management SaaS provider. As we scale our global infrastructure, we are shifting from traditional server management to a modern Platform Engineering model. We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Cloud Engineer who "thinks in systems." At Stratocore, we don't just maintain servers; we equip our engineers with modern LLM-based tools to act as development multipliers. In this role, you will bridge the gap between infrastructure, backend logic, and client delivery, working closely with our Infrastructure team to modernize and secure our global platform.

Top 3 Success Criteria Ownership: Own existing CI/CD pipelines and internal tooling for maintenance, optimization, and rapid troubleshooting. Modernization: Collaborate with Infra to migrate integration services from legacy Linux servers to AWS Serverless/Managed services using architectural best practices. Collaboration: Enable regional teams to adopt new DevOps policies and security standards through strong communication. Core Responsibilities Infrastructure & Cloud: Manage and evolve our AWS environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Pipeline Management: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments. Serverless Migration: Support transitioning services to cloud-native architectures (Lambda, API Gateway). Tool-Assisted Engineering: Use LLMs to accelerate coding, prototyping, and testing, with rigorous oversight for quality and security. Automation: Script to eliminate manual tasks and improve deployment efficiency. Security & Compliance: Uphold defense-in-depth security and document processes. Technical Requirements ("Must-Haves") Cloud & IaC: Hands-on cloud experience (AWS preferred) and IaC principles. CI/CD: Proficient with a major tool (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ADO, AWS CodePipeline). Software Engineering: Solid principles and modern scripting proficiency (Python or TypeScript/JavaScript). Linux & SCM: Strong Linux knowledge and Git proficiency. Education: Bachelor’s in CS, Engineering, or a related technical field. Mindset: Adaptable to rapidly shifting AI-driven workflows with a continuous learning mindset. Preferred Skills AWS CDK or Serverless frameworks. Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI APIs, or integrating AI tools into workflows. Containerization (Docker/Containers).
