Position Summary:
The Business Development Executive plays a key role in expanding TRIGO’s presence in the aerospace, rail, and defense sectors across Asia. You will support the Asia Business Unit Manager in identifying and developing new client relationships, conducting market analysis, and driving sales initiatives. Acting as a strategic partner, you will engage with clients to understand their needs and work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that enhance client satisfaction and contribute to the company’s growth in the region.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and coordinate strategic projects from conception through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Work closely with internal teams and clients to anticipate and resolve technical and organizational challenges.
- Regular updating of opportunities and offers in CRM
- Provide regular project reporting to the Business Unit Manager and relevant stakeholders.
Business Development:
- Support prospecting and client development in the aerospace, rail, and defense sectors across Asia.
- Identify and analyze market opportunities with the Business Unit Manager, developing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Attend client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to promote our services and build partnerships.
- Required to undertake regular business travel within Asia to support project development and client engagement, in coordination with the Business Unit Manager.
Strategic Support:
- Conduct competitive and technology monitoring to identify market trends and anticipate sector changes.
- Prepare and facilitate meetings, presentations, and commercial proposals to assist the Business Unit Manager in development activities.
Qualifications:
- You hold a degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) from a business school or an engineering school with a strong interest in business development and client relations. You are interested in the shipbuilding, aerospace and rail sectors.
- You have 2 to 3 years of professional experience, ideally in a related field.
- Naturally curious, you enjoy engaging with clients to understand their needs and collaboratively define solutions with a technical team.
- Ability to navigate and adapt to diverse intercultural environments across Asia, fostering effective communication and collaboration with local teams and clients.
- Interpersonal skills, a taste for challenges, a proactive mindset, technical rigor, ability to work autonomously, and ease in communicating and writing in English are key strengths for successfully carrying out the anticipated responsibilities.
