Description de la mission

As part of the Hutchinson procurement team, you will manage the Project Spend for the production site. Your mission is to guarantee the supply of goods and services while optimizing costs and ensuring compliance with the automotive industry’s high standards. You will be a key partner for the Plant Manager and technical department heads.Manage sourcing and supplier selection to support project needs. Lead RFQs/RFPs and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts. Control project purchasing costs and support budget targets. Coordinate with engineering, quality, logistics, and finance teams. Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks. Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and provide project status reports. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams in English and Spanish

Profil recherché

Specialization / Specialization : A first experience in the Automotive Industry or a demanding industrial environment is a major asset Niveau d’études (Bac +2, +3, etc.) / Level of education : Master’s Degree in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management Compétences techniques / Technical skills : Analytical Skills: Ability to handle complex data and identify saving opportunities (TCO approach) Technical Savvy: Comfortable discussing technical requirements with maintenance and production engineers Tools: Proficiency in WeProc and the Office Suite (Excel expert) Spoken languages ; English: Fluent (C1 level minimum) – Mandatory Spanish: Fluent/Working proficiency – Mandatory Soft skills : Agility: The automotive sector moves fast; you must be able to pivot priorities quickly Hands-on Attitude: You are not just behind a desk; you go to the shop floor to understand the needs Intercultural Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between French corporate strategy and local American or Mexican operational realities
