Quality Conformance Manager in QMGK (Operational Quality s19 A350) (H/F)

A VIE for a Quality conformance management has arisen within Airbus commercial in Getafe (Spain). You will join the Quality department of the site (QMG) 1. GETAFE: CENTER OF EXCELLENCE Our Getafe plant is a premier center for advanced aerospace manufacturing. Getafe is the only site in Airbus where we work the 3 Airbus divisions together: Airbus Defense and Space, Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Commercial. By joining this site, you will be directly involved with the core components of the Airbus fleet: The Horizontal Tailplane (HTP): Ensuring the stability and performance of the entire Airbus aircraft family. The A350 Section 19 (S19): Working on the cutting-edge, carbon-fiber rear fuselage section that defines modern long-range aviation. RTM parts manufacturing for A350 S19. 2. JOB DESCRIPTION & MISSION Summary: In this role, your mission is to lead and drive the resolution of complex quality issues through active teamwork. You will not work in isolation; your success depends on your ability to facilitate collective solutions. We have a corporate ambition to drastically reduce de Non Quality in Airbus Commercial to further improve the satisfaction of our customers and the operational performance of our industrial process. Key Responsibilities: You will report directly to the Head of Quality of Section 19 & Composites a350 in the following critical missions: Leader of Quality Moonshot Portfolio: work with other local and central functions as well as other Airbus plants to define and lead the portfolio of strategic projects to reduce the Non Conformities of our manufacturing lines. Non Conformity monitoring: Work closely with peers to measure, monitor and eradicate defects and rework in production. PDCA creation: Monitor quality KPI’s and create forecasts to secure the improvement plans to converge to targets. Leader of Quality Moonshot Portfolio: work with other local and central functions as well as other Airbus plants to define and lead the portfolio of strategic projects to reduce the Non Conformities of our manufacturing lines. Work closely with our Quality Line Side team of the section 19 to ensure full link with the shop floor know-how, implement lessons learned and improvement ideas. Support all Quality Conformance Managers of each manufacturing line to support the monitoring of the quality KPI’s. Problem Solving: use problem solving methodologies to find root causes and eradicate defects (PPS, 5 Whys, Ishikawa). 3. MULTI-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION This role offers a unique opportunity to work across different layers of the organization: Local Multi-Functional Teams (MFTs): Daily collaboration in Getafe with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Logistics. Airbus Central Organization: Working with central departments to align local operations with global company strategies. Inter-Plant Network: You will maintain regular contact and collaborate with other key manufacturing sites, including Illescas, Cádiz, and St Eloi (France).

Education: Master Degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline. Languages: Advanced level in both English and Spanish is required. French and/or German would be also a “plus”. Knowledge of Quality methodologies and standards is highly valued Programming Skills (nice to have): Basic knowledge or experience in programming of digitalization is highly valued to support the digitization of projects.
