Delivery Owner (RUN Talend) – CAESAR Program CAESAR is program concerning 2 applications - Talend & S4 with common rules and way of working across applications. Context Within the CAESAR integration landscape, we are looking for an external consultant to act as Delivery Owner for the RUN (BAU) activities related to Talend-based integrations. This role will replace the current RUN responsibilities handled by internal resources and will act as the single point of entry for RUN delivery, coordinating between business users, local countries, and offshore development teams (India). Role & Responsibilities Overall Mission - The Delivery Owner is responsible for end-to-end ownership of RUN (BAU) tickets related to Talend integrations, ensuring proper qualification, design, development follow-up, testing, and release readiness. - Ticket Management (RUN / BAU) - Act as single point of contact for RUN Talend tickets (incidents and changes). - Qualify and analyze incoming tickets, including unclear or poorly described issues raised by business or local IT teams. - Distinguish between: - Standard bug tickets handled directly by the support/dev teams. - Complex bug tickets, requiring deep analysis and coordination. Complex Incident Handling - Support development teams in root cause analysis for complex issues. - Work closely with developers to: - Understand data, integration flows, and functional impacts. - Propose and validate solution options. - Coordinate directly with local country teams, even in complex or sensitive situations. - Follow up the issue until full resolution, including verification and communication. Change & Enhancement Delivery Own change tickets end-to-end in RUN context: - Analyze the functional and technical need. - Write functional specifications and/or technical design documents for the dev teams. - Follow up developments performed by offshore teams (India). Ensure delivery quality through: - Development environment testing. - UAT support and coordination. - Non-Regression Testing (NRT) across multiple countries when required. Testing & Quality Assurance - Perform or coordinate: - Pre-UAT testing. - Functional validation of fixes and changes. - Error analysis and re-testing cycles with developers. - Prepare or review UAT-related documentation (e.g. UAT forms). - Review release documentation (delivery & release notes) before production deployment. Communication & Coordination - Ensure clear and structured communication with: Offshore developers, Local IT and business teams and Internal stakeholders; - Prepare and contribute to delivery notes, release-related communications and follow-up messages and clarifications for local teams; Technologies & Skills Mandatory Technical Skills - Strong expertise in ETL integration concepts. - Talend (Jobs, orchestration, monitoring, RUN constraints). - SQL, with solid hands-on experience on MySQL. - Good understanding of SAP integration concepts, including: IDoc & CDS views (conceptual understanding expected). Nice to Have - Knowledge of Power BI (data consumption, reporting context). - Experience with complex multi-country integration landscapes. Experience & Profile - Comfortable working in RUN / BAU context, with high operational pressure. - Used to working with offshore development teams. - Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage complex, ambiguous situations. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Autonomous, structured, and results-oriented. Languages English: fluent (working language). Key Success Factors - Ability to deeply understand integration issues, not only coordinate. - Strong ownership of delivery from ticket intake to production readiness. - Capacity to interact efficiently with developers, local teams, and stakeholders. - Ensuring quality, stability, and continuity of RUN services within CAESAR.
