Description de la mission

Context: The power sector is undergoing fundamental change. In S&EM Iberia RES Operations (RES OPS), focused on renewable energy and short term trading activity to support a fast-growing activity. RES OPS is compose of 4 people and you. We works in direct contact with business teams (Business Developers, Structurers, Traders) and support functions to ensure operational excellence, high-quality data and scalable processes around RES business. RES OPS team is responsible for: - - - - - Ensure the operational excellence in a real-time environment Providing the relevant tools to actively manage renewable portfolio Maintain central database data quality at highest level for renewable assets management Facilitating the production of reports and analysis on data Calculation or validate settlement towards client or Transmission System Operator Role: As a Renewable Portfolio Data Analyst within RES OPS Iberia, you will play a key role in building and operating data flows and tools that enable renewable contract management, ancillary service, settlement readiness and business reporting. You will be at the center between business users, IT and external service providers: - - - - - - - - - Develop a strong understanding of RES OPS business processes (contract onboarding, operations follow-up, reporting, settlement support) to propose pragmatic solutions to new challenges Own the end-to-end data backbone of RES OPS: design, build and run robust pipelines from internal/external sources into the central database and time-series storage, ensuring the business can operate with confidence. Keep critical metering/measurement data flowing: monitor, troubleshoot and restore data availability when incidents occur. Support renewable contract onboarding (e.g., MRSA/PPA) by helping with configuration, data mapping, consistency checks and go-live readiness — making sure new contracts are “operational-by-design”. Be a guardian of data quality by mastering data governance Deliver operational insights that matter: produce and maintain reporting and analysis (PnL components, operational KPIs) using Power BI / SQL / Python, enabling fast decision-making. Act as the key interface with providers and internal stakeholders: keep pipelines healthy, drive continuous improvements, and coordinate fixes with IT where required. Continuously automate and industrialize: improve processes to increase scalability, robustness, and operational

Hard skills: - - - - - - Familiar with Finance and/or Energy fields Experience in coding and scripting with Python Data management skills Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders Good knowledge of GitHub Copilot is a plus Experience with power BI or AWS is a plus Soft skills: - - - Strong focus on business outcomes and operational reliability Hands-on, problem-solver mindset; comfortable troubleshooting data issues under time constraints Effectively collaborate with a diverse range of professional profiles. - Curiosity and ownership: proactive in proposing improvements and learning new topics Education and professional background: - The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in engineering, business engineering, mathematics, or physics.
