Investments and M&A Analyst (H/F)

Scope of the Position The VIE will support the growth of EDF Power Solutions Brazil by developing and updating financial models for investment evaluations and project performance monitoring. Responsibilities include preparing executive presentations for stakeholders, conducting financial analyses and due diligence for M&A processes. Job Description Currently, EDF power solutions Brazil is looking for an Investments and M&A Analyst (M/F) Reporting to the Investments and M&A Manager, your main assignments will be: • Improving and updating existing financial models. • Compiling project data (including greenfield investments, M&A, and operational projects) from various departments to establish financial model assumptions. • Development of modeling scenarios for pricing energy sales proposals (PPAs) and assessing the valuation of portfolio assets. • Contribute to the group's M&A activities, including valuation, collaboration with advisors, organization and management of data rooms, due diligence, information compilation, and preparation of commercial presentations (such as teasers and CIMs), as well as contract negotiations (SHA, SPA, etc.). • Support other departments with economic and financial information on projects and report on projects/assets to management in both Brazil and France. • Preparation of materials and dossiers (investment theses) for the approval processes of new investments with the relevant committees in France.

• Training/ Diploma: Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering • Prior experience: Finance, Renewable Energy, and M&A processes • Languages: Fluent in English and Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus • Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • IT: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint are essential Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: • 60% office work and 40% remote work from home. Traveling to other Brazilian states might be necessary (mainly business meetings and eventually site visits).
