Innovation & Intrapreneurship (H/F)

Could you be the full-time Innovation Programme Leader in Sweden we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and forward-thinking teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and sustainability initiatives, ensuring the successful delivery of high-priority projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (R&D, engineering, and external innovation partners), coordinate technical activities, and manage stakeholder relationships, among other responsibilities. You’ll specifically take care of leading advanced manufacturing and eco-material projects, but also ensuring alignment with Alstom's long-term sustainability and innovation goals. We’ll look to you for: Driving use cases through the Acceleration phase in line with Alstom’s Collaborative Innovation Programme Defining and managing project scope, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies Coordinating engineering activities such as mechanical design, structural simulations, and benchmarking Ensuring compliance with railway engineering constraints while leveraging innovative manufacturing capabilities Acting as the operational interface with start-ups and internal contributors Preparing and animating technical workshops, design reviews, and steering points Providing clear status reporting and supporting go/no-go decisions Ensuring documentation, confidentiality, and IP awareness in line with contractual requirements

Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials, or equivalent Solid understanding of structural mechanics, manufacturing processes, and product development Experience or understanding of technical or engineering project management in an industrial or R&D environment Knowledge of innovation acceleration, prototype development, or pre-industrial processes Familiarity with railway, automotive, aerospace, or heavy industries Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Structured, autonomous, and delivery-focused mindset You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
