Description de la mission

YOUR MISSIONS WITH US: Project Execution & Technical Delivery: - Support the Project Manager in overseeing the full lifecycle of I&M projects. - Assist in tracking project progress and coordinating field teams. - Prepare technical reports and ensure proper project documentation follow-up. Commercial & Contract Control : - Assist the Project Manager in budget tracking (costs, margins, forecasts). - Support the preparation of financial deliverables (reporting, invoicing, expense tracking). - Contribute to scope change analysis and change order follow-up. - Help ensure compliance with contract frameworks (CCDC and applicable local regulations). Safety & Risk Management : - Support the implementation of occupational health and safety policies across projects. - Contribute to risk identification and monitoring of preventive actions. - Assist in the preparation and follow-up of Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP). - Help ensure compliance with safety rules on project sites in coordination with field teams. Subcontractor & Supply Chain Vetting : - Assist in coordinating specialized subcontractors (geotechnical drilling, hydrovac, civil contractors). - Participate in monitoring their performance (quality, safety, timelines). - Help ensure that delivered services and products meet technical and contractual requirements. Stakeholder & Client Interface : - Support the Project Manager in client interactions. - Contribute to the preparation of meetings and communication materials. - Track schedules, milestones, and site access coordination. - Assist in sharing monitoring data and operational updates with stakeholders.

Profil recherché

Required Qualifications & Physical Demands (BFORs) : - Technical Expertise : Knowledge of civil and geotechnical instrumentation techniques, with initial experience in geotechnical data interpretation and familiarity with the civil construction sector. - Driver’s License & Travel : Requires a valid license with a clean driving abstract to operate company fleet vehicles. - Physical Capability : Must be capable of transitioning safely from a site-office environment to sustained physical presence outdoors in variable Ontario weather conditions. Behavioral Competencies : - Demonstrates a proactive and commercially aware mindset, supporting project controls and helping safeguard the commercial baseline by identifying and flagging potential out-of-scope requests. - Promotes a culture of compliance by leading through example, actively supporting the enforcement of safety standards and raising concerns related to unsafe practices by team members or subcontractors. - Shows sound judgment under pressure, assisting in adapting to unforeseen site conditions or supply chain constraints while supporting the Project Manager in maintaining project timelines. - Effectively communicates geotechnical data, operational constraints, and project milestones in a clear and structured manner to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
