Business Analyst Front Office (H/F)

At Société Générale Luxembourg, you will join the Private Banking trading desk. The department handles all market transactions for Société Générale Private Banking, across all client segments. As a Front Office Business Analyst, your role will be to facilitate collaboration between the trading desk and the IT teams with a view to developing execution and monitoring tools for the trading desk. Responsibilities : Contribute to the development of trading room applications Listen to, understand and critically assess requests from various business stakeholders in the trading room in Luxembourg, as well as those from the various desks within Société Générale’s private banking entities Build a relationship of trust between the various business stakeholders and the IT department Analyse and validate the functional specifications provided by the business units Draft functional specifications for the development team, as well as the test scenarios to be applied Functionally test all new developments and carry out non-regression tests prior to going live

Studies & experience: Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in IT and finance Initial experience as a Business Analyst would be an advantage Language skills: Fluent in English Technical, operational & soft skills: You have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of programming languages (Python)
