Productivity Buyer (H/F)

This division develops innovations that contribute to the mobility of tomorrow by reducing pollutant emissions and maximizing vehicle autonomy. The site of Kohnan based in Japan belongs to Power Division. We are looking for a VIE Productivity Buyer for 12 months within the team. Your challenges? You define and implement technical and supplier re-sourcing productivity actions in line with budget objectives You collaborate with purchasing and operational teams to achieve cost reduction and negotiation targets You drive material productivity initiatives and coordinate supplier involvement according to project timelines You manage and strengthen supplier relationships for assigned strategic suppliers You deploy and enforce global material and purchasing standards across the site You build and monitor the purchasing budget together with site management and purchasing teams You implement risk mitigation and logistics action plans to secure supply continuity and operational performance You monitor purchasing performance through cost savings, sourcing efficiency, quality performance, and supplier chargeback indicators

Let’s talk about you… You hold a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field You already have experience in purchasing, supplier management, sourcing, or industrial operations You have a fluent level of English You have strong communication skills, an international mindset, and openness to different cultures and ways of working You are collaborative, attentive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in cross-functional environments You demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills You are organized, proactive, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus Please, don't forget to apply in English to facilitate the process with our managers.
