In this role, you will be part of the Group Procurement team, reporting directly to the Global Team Lead Raw Materials Sourcing and working in close collaboration with the Decarbonization Unit. You will act as a bridge between sourcing, data analytics, and sustainability, contributing to Heidelberg Materials’ ambition to build transparent, resilient, and low‑carbon supply chains and to achieve the company’s global performance and decarbonization targets. What we offer • A highly motivated, agile, and supportive team • Fun at work • A fully international work atmosphere • Possibilities to grow with your own projects and responsibilities • Fast decision-making due to flat management hierarchies • Direct exposure to global procurement strategy and group-wide decarbonization initiatives • A dedicated onboarding and training program for newcomers • Mobile working within Germany on up to three days per week • Modern Headquarters located in the center of the lively historical city of Heidelberg Tasks & Responsibilities Core Procurement & Category Analytics – Raw Materials • Be assertive and motivated to strive for continuous performance improvements for Heidelberg Materials • Comprehend and support Raw Materials (RM) sourcing activities along the global category roadmap • Provide support in terms of documentation, consolidation, and market research • Drive and conduct business data analyses (market, spend, supplier, and cost data) • Proactively contribute to the identification, assessment, and realization of supply, supplier, and savings opportunities • Analyze, define, prepare, and support tenders related to Raw Materials • Ad-hoc participation in negotiations and follow-up of results after clearance with the responsible Global Category Leader • Contribute to contract preparation and ensure adherence to procurement rules and compliance requirements Collaboration with Decarbonization Unit • Collaborate with the Decarbonization Unit, which holds responsibility for Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCMs) • Support analytics and market intelligence on SC Materials and ensure alignment between Raw Materials procurement and decarbonization initiatives (e.g., data consistency, supplier transparency) • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives related to sustainability and the company's decarbonization roadmap for data-driven decision-making • Act as an analytical interface between Group Procurement and Decarbonization where scopes intersect Stakeholder Management • Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure effective information exchange • Understand priorities and manage multiple topics and projects in parallel

Profil recherché

Requirements • Previous work experience in the procurement area or related analytical function • Fluent in English (mandatory), German language skills will be a plus • Strong analytical skills, particularly in databases & Excel • Presentation and documentation skills • Software skills (SAP, MS Excel, eTendering tools, etc.) are a desired plus • Communication-oriented and experiences interacting with senior management • Curiosity, open-minded thinking, and understanding of the global industrial process • Ability to work autonomously and deliver results • Ability to operate in multicultural teams and across multiple projects • Willingness to travel (up to approx. 10% of working time)
