Presentation of the company: VSL is a specialist in post-tensioned and cable-stayed structures, foundations and ground engineering. It thus contributes to the design and construction of transport infrastructure (bridges, tunnels, roads), buildings, and industrial & energy-producing structures, and it maintains, repairs and upgrades all structural systems that guarantee performance, safety and durability.

This ground-breaking nuclear power plant project in Suffolk will play a vital role in delivering a sustainable future. Backed by EDF and the UK Government, Sizewell C is a once-in-a-generation project with significant opportunities to innovate, grow, and deliver excellence.
Presentation of the job: We are looking for a Junior Site Engineer to join our team on a major construction site. This role offers hands-on experience in site engineering and construction activities, requiring an organised, proactive individual eager to learn and grow within a large-scale infrastructure project.
Missions:
- Support daily site operations and construction activities
- Assist site engineers with setting out, inspections, and quality checks
- Contribute to the preparation and review of method statements and risk assessments
- Monitor compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Support progress tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Participate in site meetings and technical discussions
- Assist with cost, programme, and resource follow-up
Profil recherché
Profile:
-Master’s degree or Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Eligible for the VIE programme (EU nationality, under 28 years old)
- First experience on construction sites (internships or graduate placements)
- Strong interest in site engineering and ground engineering activities
- Good understanding of health & safety principles
- Proactive, organised, and hands-on mindset
- Good communication skills
- Fluent English required
