Embedded Software Test Engineer (H/F)

As an Embedded Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for verifying and validating embedded software for advanced defense systems. Working closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams, you will ensure that mission-critical applications meet functional, performance, and quality requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Key responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for embedded software. Perform functional, integration, regression, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing to verify compliance with system and software requirements. Analyze test results, investigate defects, support root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineers to ensure robust integration and high-quality software releases. Contribute to test automation, technical documentation, and the continuous improvement of verification and validation processes within a safety- and mission-critical defense environment.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field. Experience in embedded software testing, software verification and validation (V&V), or software quality assurance. Knowledge of embedded systems and experience testing software written in C/C++. Experience developing and executing test cases, analyzing test results, and reporting software defects using defect tracking tools. Familiarity with test automation, scripting (e.g., Python), Fluency in English and French
