About the job As Biotechnology Researcher VIE within our Large Molecule Research team, you’ll designs large biological molecules such as antibodies and Nanobody® based molecules as drug candidates. The team uses advanced technologies like robotics, high-throughput screening and artificial intelligence to accelerate the development of new therapeutics for patients. Main responsibilities: - Research, propose and implement next-generation technologies to increase efficiency of protein production. - Ensure documentation of laboratory experiments in a timely manner. - Analyse and summarize experimental outcomes, record experimental procedures. - Optimization of production of complex multispecific proteins by transient expression in HEK 293 (Human Embryonic Kidney) and CHO (Chinese Hamster Ovary) cells. About you Experience: - Knowledge and preferably hands-on experience in cultivation of different cell lines. Soft and technical skills: - Good communication skills, willingness to learn, open minded. - Ability to work in a structured way, manage priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. - Animal cell culture technology skills. - Protein expression with mammalian cells. - Lab automation. Education: - Master’s Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry or similar field. Languages: - Advanced English knowledge, German skills would be appreciated.
