The Planning team, it is 20 dynamic and international silo-breakers working hands in hands with all departments, at the center of the organisation. Understanding each other, being proactive and build strong relationships with all employees are the main characteristics of the team.
What you can expect about the location
Groupe SEB WMF is based in Geislingen, a small town easily accessible from Stuttgart or Ulm in 30-40 min.
Stuttgart is a very dynamic city with a strong and active VIE network due to the presence of numerous international groups from the automotive industry. Whereas Ulm is a lively university town (awarded best city to live in Germany!), close to the Alps, and with a significant foreign students network.

Contribute to our development:
It all starts from Demand Planning: Forecast is the major driver of the entire Supply chain efficiency. You will be working within the operations department in Geislingen in Germany. As a Demand Analyst, you will:
• Lead, animate, build and validate the unconstrained demand plan (aggregated level - Family & disaggregated level - SKU)
• Leverage the use of data and statistics to support decision making on Management-, Marketing-, Sales- or Finance side
• Update planning system (o9) according to the Consensus number (validated demand plan, including potential constraints and business bets)
• Ensure consistency between the demand plan and agreed business decisions to control the bias
• Work to improve the overall supply chain efficiency
• Work closely together with Marketing and International Supply Chain to build the most accurate forecast for the next 12-18 rolling months
• Lead the monthly Forecast Meeting (Pre Local Demand Review) together with Marketing and take over an active role in the monthly preperation meeting for the Product Line Review with our international Supply Chain colleagues
• Ensure the best possible Customer Service Level / CSL for the Product Line you are responsible for
• Track and monitor Phase In / Phase Out execution for your products
• Analyze KPIs and take actions to solve root causes: Demand Planning Accuracy, Bias, repetitive Bias, FC value add
• Work in a continuous improvement mode to challenge the status quo and improve our way of working
Profil recherché
Bring your skills:
• With a university degree, ideally with a focus on supply chain management/logistics/ operations management, you are a team player with high analytical skills and good communication skills
• You are process oriented (organized, solution-oriented & accurate) and you have a continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset
• Excel-Knowledge is needed, and first knowledge of “o9” is an advantage
• Good English skills, both written and spoken is required and knowledge of German is an advantage
