Description de la mission
Piriou Vietnam (PVN) electrical team is responsible for the detailed design and integration all of electrical functions on board the vessel. Its main function is to develop the basic design received from Piriou Engineering (PING) to a level of details and documentation sufficient for a smooth and expedite installation on board the vessel.
PVN electrical team is responsible to define each electrical equipment and to ensure these are correctly specified to be ordered on time.
The role of the Electrical Engineer is to manage the electrical global engineering, with a particular focus on:
- Supporting the PIRIOU INGENIERIE (PING) (Basic design & Architectural design offices) with technical and budgetary input during the development of Piriou commercial offers,
- Assisting PING during the basic design phase as and when required,
- Liaising with PING during the detail design to ensure smooth transfer of information with PING and its subcontractors,
- Coordinating the different activities and projects within his team to ensure on-time and on budget delivery,
- Acting as design leader within his project and other yard’s stakeholders,
- Proposing electrical design process optimization
- Sourcing of alternative electrical system suppliers or alternative electrical industrial scheme in order to be reduce the cost
Profil recherché
- Knowledge of shipbuilding regulations, and specifically of the French codes
- Mastering of the complete ship design process. Project / Basic / Design / Industrialization / Preparation
- Detailed knowledge of:
- electrical power production, distribution,
- control systems,
- communication systems,
- navigation equipment,
in a marine environment.
- Be able to criticize a design principle and propose alternative solution
- Be able to respect the ISO procedures
- Be able to use Autocad and MS Office
- Knowledge of See Electrical
- Knowledge of Cadmatic software is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
