Description de la mission
PIRIOU VIETNAM (PVN) Outfitting team is responsible for detailed design and integration of all outfitting equipment onboard the vessel. This includes in particular, but not only anchoring, mooring, steering, bow thrusters, external doors, windows and hatches, manholes, stairs and ladders, lifesaving appliances, navigation mast, handrails, cranes, winches and all deck equipment.
PVN Piping team is responsible for detailed design and integration of all piping systems onboard the vessels. This includes 3D modelling of all system in Cadmatic, issuance of Isometric drawings, penetrations, piping equipment foundations, definition of the equipment’s and issuance of the RFMs, Sea chests arrangement.
The role of the Piping and outfitting Engineer is to be a multiskilled engineer capable to manage the piping and outfitting global engineering, with a particular focus on:
- Supporting PIRIOU INGENIERIE (PING) (Basic design & Project Design studies offices) with technical and budgetary input during the development of Piriou commercial offers,
- Assisting PING during the basic design phase as and when required,
- Liaising with PING during the detail design to ensure smooth transfer of information with PING and its subcontractors,
- Coordinating the different activities and projects within his team to ensure on-time and on budget delivery,
- Acting as design leader within his project and other yard’s stakeholders,
- Proposing piping design process optimization
- Sourcing of alternative piping and outfitting system suppliers in order to reduce the cost
Profil recherché
- Knowledge of shipbuilding regulations, and specifically of the BV Rules, SOLAS and SPS codes
- Knowledge of the complete ship design process. Project / Basic / Design / Industrialization / Preparation
- Detailed knowledge of:
- Piping systems,
- Outfitting systems,
- Interfaces with electrical system
in a marine environment.
- Be able to criticize a design principle and propose alternative solution
- Be able to respect the ISO procedures
- Be able to use Autocad and MS Office
- Knowledge of Cadmatic software is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work in a team in an intercultural environment
