Commodity Buyer VIE (H/F)

Our Interiors North America Division is looking for a Commodity Buyer VIE - Metal & Mechatronics to be based at its headquarters of Puebla, Mexico.   The Commodity Buyer VIE - Metal & Mechatronics is responsible for supporting the deployment of the Metal & Mechatronics commodity strategy by managing assigned suppliers, sourcing activities, negotiations and performance across cost, quality and delivery. • Manage assigned suppliers, including RFQs, negotiations and sourcing activities. • Monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, delivery and supply continuity. • Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyse market trends and anticipate supplier risks. • Coordinate with Programs, Engineering, Quality, Logistics and Plants, including regular supplier visits and progress reporting.   The mission will last 1 year and could be extended of 1 additional year (total of 2 years).  

What you need to join us? English language is mandatory as you will be speaking with people from all over the world. Master’s degree/Engineering diploma in purchasing Minimum 1 year purchasing experience. (Automotive preferred / capital preferred) Who are we looking for?
