BUSINESS DEVELOPER (H/F)

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITES As part of the development of our activities in Ireland and the United Kingdom, we are looking for a Business Manager (M/F) based in Dublin. Reporting to the CEO, your main responsibilities will include: Develop and execute Fortil’s business strategy across Ireland and the United Kingdom. Identify, approach, and secure new clients, projects, and strategic partnerships within key industrial sectors. Build and manage a portfolio of clients while strengthening long-term relationships to ensure sustainable growth. Recruit, onboard, and support engineering consultants, ensuring their successful integration and development within client projects. Lead commercial negotiations and oversee the full business cycle, from prospecting to contract close. Collaborate closely with technical and operational teams to understand client needs and propose tailored engineering and consulting solutions. Monitor market trends, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the expansion of Fortil’s footprint in the region. Drive business performance through clear reporting, forecasting, and achievement of growth objectives.

YOUR PROFILE & PERSONALITY You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field and have at least 5 years of experience in business development, consulting, engineering services, or technical recruitment within industrial or high-tech environments. You are passionate about entrepreneurship, business development, and building strong client relationships. You have a proven ability to identify opportunities, develop new markets, and lead complex commercial discussions with decision-makers. Results-driven and ambitious, you combine excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with a strong business mindset. You thrive in dynamic and international environments and are motivated by the opportunity to actively contribute to the growth of a fast-expanding organization. Previous experience in engineering consulting, IT consulting, or technical services is highly valued.
