For our Supply & Energy Management (S&EM) Global Business Unit in Brussels, we are currently looking for a VIE Flex Power Structurer (F/M/X)! About the Team: Decentralised Flexibility The European power landscape is undergoing a rapid transformation and flexibility has become a critical cornerstone of the energy transition. ENGIE’s ambition is to be the best energy transition utility, we therefore want to accelerate, industrialise and scale up the development of our decentralised flexibility business to remain at the forefront of the energy transition, strengthen our client relationships and establish ENGIE as a one-stop-shop for supply & energy management. This imperatively includes unlocking the value of our clients’ on-site flexibility ranging from demand side response flexibility, EV-chargers, and behind the meter BESS to decentralised power production (PV, CHP,… ) on their premises and more. Within S&EM, the Decentralised Flexibility desk is part of the Central Europe power trading & commercial business platform operating across the power value chain in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The Decentralised Flexibility desk develops, originates and operates energy management solutions for decentralised flexibility (demand side response, EV-chargers, behind the meter BESS,… ) and structures it in such a way that maximises the value that can be extracted by trading. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Flex Power Structurer We are looking for a motivated H/F/X to join the team on a VIE and take part in this exciting journey! You will contribute to the acceleration of ENGIE’s decentralised flexibility business by supporting the team on both analytical and commercial efforts.    Your mission will include:    Assess historical performance and build pricing tools for decentralised flexibility in cooperation with trading teams (e.g. behind the meter BESS, electric boilers,... ).  Support the team in developing ENGIE decentralised flexibility offering across Central Western Europe countries; understanding business cases and structuring flexibility offtake solution that addresses the needs for our clients.  Support the team in developing the optimisation logic of our virtual power plants (VPPs) and “smart stacking” strategies for small scale assets.  Build out market intelligence.    Your interactions will include:    Structuring teams  Trading teams  Sales and business development teams  Operations and portfolio managers 

YOUR PROFILE as Flex Power Structurer Master’s degree in a quantitative field (engineering, finance, economics, mathematics, or similar)   Strong analytical and modelling skills with strong proficiency in Python  Strong interest in energy markets and the energy transition in general  Proactive, curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment  You enjoy interacting with a wide range of stakeholders  You enjoy tackling complexity and are hands on  Fluent in English
