ROLE OVERVIEW Cilcare K.K. is the Japanese Subsidiary of Cilcare SAS. Based in Tokyo, it serves as Cilcare’s Asia-Pacific business development hub, with a primary focus on the Japanese pharmaceutical and academic market and a growing presence across Kora, Taiwan, Australia, China and Singapore. The Business Development Representative will support the execution of business development initiatives within a multidisciplinary and international team environment. The role is responsible for applying commercial and scientific knowledge of the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries to identify, qualify, and advance partnership opportunities for Cilcare in Japan and across the Asia-Pacific region. Key responsibilities include conducting market mapping and competitive intelligence across the Japanese and regional pharmaceutical and biotechnology landscape, supporting business development activities, and contributing to the preparation of commercial proposals, partnership frameworks, and client-facing materials. The Business Development Representative will also maintain CRM records, track pipeline activities, and prepare business development reports. The role requires close collaboration with scientific and commercial experts at Cilcare SAS and Inc., as well as regular interactions with clients, sponsors, and prospective partners in Japan. In addition, the Business Development Representative will support the coordination of industry events and networking activities and contribute to the day-to-day operational management of the Tokyo subsidiary. KEY RESPONSABILITIES Business Development and Partnership Support - Support the identification, qualification, and development of commercial opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and academic institutions across Japan and the Asia-Pacific region. - Contribute to the preparation of client presentations, proposals, and partnership materials. - Maintain and update CRM records, pipeline reports, and business development metrics. Market Intelligence & Partnership Support - Monitor market trends, competitive activity, regulatory developments, and partnership opportunities in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. - Contribute to monthly and quarterly business reports, including pipeline updates, market intelligence, and business development outcomes. - Support the preparation of executive review materials and strategic planning documents. Events, Networking & Corporate Visibility - Assist in the planning and execution of Cilcare K.K.'s participation in key industry conferences and partnering events. - Support the organization of client meetings, business dinners, and networking activities in Japan and across the Asia-Pacific region. - Contribute to Cilcare K.K.'s visibility within industry associations and the Franco-Japanese business community. Operational & Administrative Support - Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Tokyo subsidiary, including scheduling, document management, and coordination with Cilcare SAS and group affiliates. - Support administrative and organizational activities necessary for the smooth operation and growth of the business.

Profil recherché

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND - Master's degree in Business, International Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or related field. - Demonstrated interest in pharma, biotech, healthcare, or life sciences. LANGUAGES - Native/business-fluent Japanese and English (written & spoken). - Strong communication skills in international business settings. - French is a plus. PROFESSIONAL SKILLS - Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Autonomous yet collaborative, comfortable working across international teams. - Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. - Proficient in MS Office; CRM familiarity a plus. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION - First experience (internship or full-time) in business development, consulting, life sciences, biotech, pharma, CRO, healthcare, or scientific sales. - Familiarity with Japan/APAC pharma-biotech ecosystem. - Exposure to CRM, pipeline management, or commercial reporting. - Basic understanding of drug development, preclinical or clinical research. PERSONAL PROFILE - Entrepreneurial, proactive, hands-on. - Strong business acumen and commercial curiosity. - Excellent written/verbal communicator. - Curious, adaptable, thrives in multicultural settings. - Passionate about building long-term relationships and growing CILcare's presence in Japan/APAC. - Team player who takes ownership while supporting senior colleagues. - Comfortable representing the company at conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
