Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager (H/F)

Savencia Fromage & Dairy UK (SFD UK) is the UK affiliate of the Savencia Fromage & Dairy Group (SFD) and specializes in the distribution of Continental Cheese to major UK retailers. We are also experts in Cheese Education and train our customers on continental cheeses. We have two sites: a cut & wrap factory in Westbury, Wiltshire and the marketing/commercial office based in Kingston (Southwest London). Our 3 core brands in the UK are Saint Agur (#1 in Blue Cheese), Le Rustique (#1 in Camembert) and Chavroux (#1 in Goat’s Cheese). We also supply a wide range of Own Label Cheeses and Selection packs to UK retailers. Summary of the Mission in few lines: The CSR Manager will lead the development and implementation of Savencia F&D UK's sustainability strategy. Their key mission will be to drive a long-term CSR vision that supports business resilience, stakeholder engagement, and positive environmental and social impact, ensuring that CSR is fully integrated into our business activities. The CSR Manager will oversee key projects, set clear objectives, and work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to align actions with the Savencia Group's Oxygen Program and Impact 2032 strategy. Duties include: • CSR Strategy o Gather data on energy usage, waste management and carbon footprint to identify areas for improvement. o Define and implement the local CSR strategy in line with Group roadmap. o Set clear targets and action plans to support continuous improvement. o Identify and assess CSR-related risks and opportunities across the business. o Oversee the annual CSR reporting campaign and ensure continuous impact monitoring. o Coordinate with Marketing teams to establish and implement local Brand Social Responsibility (BSR) strategies aligned with Group CSR priorities. • CSR Projects o Lead and support cross-functional projects to address key environmental and social challenges. o Monitor project progress, provide support to dedicated teams and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. • CSR Culture o Act as an internal CSR expert: support teams with ad-hoc requests and promote internal awareness to ensure CSR is integrated into daily business practices. o Drive engagement with key stakeholders (clients, partners, industry players, etc.) to promote sustainable practices. o Ensure coordination between the Group and SFD UK on all CSR-related topics, acting as the main point of contact and facilitator. o Conduct regular benchmarking and stay informed on best practices, trends, and regulatory developments. o Draft and distribute newsletters and social media updates highlighting CSR achievements (e.g LinkedIn and Viva Engage) o Conduct workshops for employees on sustainability practices and ethical business conduct o Be the Climate Fresk facilitator o Develop materials to educate SFD UK staff on the importance of CSR • Compliance and Auditing o Ensure all CSR activities comply with local and international regulations o Conduct audits to verify adherence to ethical standards and sustainability goals

Requested profile: • Bachelor’s degree in business, Environmental Science, Social Sciences or related field • Proven experience in CSR, sustainability or related field • Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement Personal skills: • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively • Analytical skills to assess the impact of CSR initiatives • Passion for environmental and social issues • Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire others
