About the Job You're Considering Capgemini Invent’s Digital Continuity team helps organizations transform their Engineering and R&D functions by connecting people, processes, data, and technology across the enterprise. We partner with clients across industries—including Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace & Defense—to modernize product development, accelerate innovation, and unlock greater business value through digital engineering capabilities. As part of our Intelligent Industry practice, you will help clients advance their Digital Transformation agenda through initiatives such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Model-Based Engineering (MBE), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Thread, Digital Twin, and broader Engineering & R&D transformation programs. This role is ideal for a consultant who combines engineering domain expertise with strong problem-solving and client-facing consulting skills. You will work closely with clients to assess current-state engineering processes, identify improvement opportunities, define future-state operating models, and support the implementation of transformative digital engineering solutions. Your Role - Contribute to Engineering and R&D transformation engagements across Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace & Defense organizations. - Support the design and delivery of digital engineering initiatives, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Model-Based Engineering (MBE), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Digital Thread, and Digital Twin programs. - Partner with clients to assess current-state capabilities, identify transformation opportunities, and define actionable roadmaps aligned with business objectives. - Translate technical engineering requirements into business outcomes and value-driven recommendations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully execute engineering transformation programs and manage project workstreams. - Support business development activities, including proposal creation, pursuit support, capability presentations, and client discussions.Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.Leverage data, analytics, and AI-enabled insights to improve engineering performance and drive informed decision-making. - Support the development of future-state operating models and digital transformation strategies for engineering organizations.Stay current on emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation for clients and within the practice.

Your Skills + Experience - 3 years of experience in digital engineering, technology consulting, software delivery, or related transformation environments. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace, Computer Science), Information Systems, or a related field. - Experience supporting Engineering or R&D transformation initiatives within Manufacturing, Automotive, or Aerospace & Defense industries. - Strong understanding of the business value and application of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Model-Based Engineering (MBE), and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). - Knowledge of end-to-end PLM processes and their role in engineering transformation.Experience with Model-Based Engineering, Model-Based Enterprise, Digital Thread, and Digital Twin concepts and implementations. - Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex business challenges using technology-enabled solutions. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, client-facing consulting environment while owning and delivering project workstreams. - Fluent English communication skills
