**S&EM – Business Platform APAC** is responsible for managing and developing ENGIE Group’s trading activities across the APAC region, as well as supporting the Group’s LNG business worldwide.
As part of its ongoing transformation, S&EM is developing and rolling out several strategic IT and digital initiatives, including **Algo Trading, Gemstone** (the front-to-accounting trading chain based on Orchestrade), **eBusiness development**, and other projects aimed at improving the efficiency, reliability and digitalization of the trading platform.
To support these activities, the S&EM APAC IT team is looking for an **IT Application Support Officer** to contribute to the reliability and continuous improvement of the existing information systems, while supporting the deployment and development of new solutions.
The position is based in **Singapore** and involves frequent interaction with IT and business teams in Europe, particularly in Paris and Brussels. Occasional business trips to Europe may be required.
As a member of the Singapore IT team, the VIE will also contribute to the collaboration and cohesion of the wider international IT organization, working closely with teams across different time zones as part of a **Follow-the-Sun support model**.
## Main responsibilities
The main responsibilities will include:
* **Ensure the stability and continuity of the production environment**, by monitoring applications, services and batches running in Singapore and Europe, identifying incidents and coordinating their resolution with the relevant IT teams.
* **Provide application support to business users** across the trading environment, covering areas such as pre-trade and pricing, trade lifecycle, post-trade, Greeks/V@R/valuation, curves and market data, static reference data and short-term trading.
* **Analyze and resolve incidents**, document solutions and contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring tools, operational procedures and support processes.
* **Support local users in Singapore**, handling requests related to application configuration, access and usage, while collecting user feedback and sharing it with development and business analysis teams.
* **Collaborate closely with IT teams in Paris and Brussels**, ensuring efficient communication, knowledge sharing and handover of activities within the Follow-the-Sun operating model.
* **Contribute to continuous improvement**, by identifying recurring issues, enriching the problem backlog and proposing improvements to the IT landscape and user experience.
* **Develop knowledge of the trading IT ecosystem**, proactively learning about applications, processes and technologies, and contributing to the Singapore Business Continuity Plan.

Profil recherché
Education
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional Experience
• 3+ years of experience as an Application Support Specialist within commodity trading, energy trading, or financial services environments.
• Experience supporting trading, risk management, and portfolio management processes across front, middle, and back-office functions.
• Proven experience working in live trading environments and supporting business-critical applications.
• Experience with ETRM/CTRM, trading, or risk management platforms such as Orchestrade, Endur, Murex, Calypso, Beacon, or equivalent solutions.
• Experience working with global and cross-regional teams in delivering business and technology initiatives.
Trading & Risk Management Knowledge
• Understanding of the complete trade life cycle including trade capture, validation, confirmations, fixings, exercises, liquidations, terminations, settlements, and reporting.
• Knowledge of risk management concepts and metrics, including:
o Greeks and sensitivities
o P&L explain and attribution
o Mark-to-Market (MtM)
o Value-at-Risk (VaR)
o Position and exposure management
o Limit monitoring and controls
• Understanding of pre-trade pricing, valuation methodologies, and risk engine concepts.
• Experience with market data management, curve building, valuation curves, and market data retrieval platforms.
• Understanding of static data management, reference data governance, and workflow management processes.
