Business Development Engineer (H/F)

To work on developing IKOS GROUP's activities in New York, we are recruiting a motivated and determined Business Development Engineer with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in growing business opportunities, managing teams, and driving the recruitment of top engineering talent. Responsibilities: The goal of the Business Development Engineer is to enhance the presence of the company in the USA and provide our customers with solutions (railway engineers) that are tailored to their complex and demanding needs. Working with the country manager, the Business Development Engineer will, therefore, be in charge of recruiting his team of skillful engineering consultants (a primary task at first) and developing the client’s portfolio (commercial side, open new clients). The role will then develop into a managerial position, and the Business Development Engineer will be responsible for his or her own Business Unit in the United States. Some travelling will be involved to meet up with clients, prospects and consultants.

• You have a Master's degree in Science or Engineering field and a strong entrepreneurial spirit (compulsory) • You have previous experience in the industry, (transportation, energy or consulting sectors are an asset) • You have a strong interest in missions that combine business development, recruitment, technological innovation and managerial responsibilities. • You are a team player and ready to learn quick • You have good communications skills • You have an aptitude for multi-tasking. • Your full work proficiency in English allows you to communicate at a technical and commercial level on a daily basis with the clients and the candidates.
