As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Scientific Software Engineer to work at the interface of research and production software. This role is ideal for someone with a PhD or postdoctoral background who enjoys turning complex scientific ideas into robust, reusable, and well-engineered software. As a Scientific Software Engineer, you will: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality scientific software used in active research and/or real-world applications Translate mathematical models, algorithms, or experimental methods into clean, tested code Work with other engineers and researchers to improve reproducibility, performance, and usability of research software Contribute to software architecture decisions and long-term technical direction Write clear documentation and support best practices in scientific computing Working conditions Temporary contract for 1 year - can be extended for one more year Coverage of travel expenses for the relocation Possibility of hybrid working Monthly net allowance of €3300 30 vacation days Fully paid health insurance Pension scheme without personal contribution Why join us?
