Metrology R&D Engineer (H/F)

Operate e-beam inspection and metrology equipment in a cleanroom environment to support process development activities, including recipe development, data acquisition, and data analysis. Initial projects will focus on areas such as 3D hybrid bonding and resist scumming investigations. Act as the main technical contact for metrology and inspection activities, working closely with customers, integration engineers, and process development teams. Establish, organize, and maintain technical documentation and project information within a centralized collaboration platform. Develop and implement Best-Known Methods for the offline analysis of SEM images, while ensuring existing analysis methods remain accurate, relevant, and up to date. Present experimental results, technical findings, and project updates during regular project and review meetings.

A Master’s degree in Applied Sciences, Materials Engineering, Electronics 2–3 years of relevant professional experience. Practical experience with metrology and characterization techniques in a high-tech cleanroom or semiconductor manufacturing environment. A proactive and practical mindset, combined with a positive attitude and a strong motivation to learn and develop new skills. The ability to adapt effectively to changing priorities, uncertainty, and technically challenging situations. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with professional fluency in English.
