Regional Sourcing & Management Support (H/F)

Purpose of the role The VIE will act as a key support to the CEE Sourcing Director and the regional Sourcing organisation. The position combines operational support for the LPZ Sourcing team, strategic coordination across the CENE region and direct management support. The objective is to improve execution, transparency and follow-up across the regional Sourcing agenda while giving the candidate broad exposure to operational and strategic procurement activities. Key responsibilities Operational support – LPZ • Support the LPZ Sourcing team in daily operational and project-related activities • Coordinate actions, deadlines and follow-ups with buyers and internal stakeholders • Support sourcing activities, supplier analyses and preparation of Sourcing Committees • Assist with data preparation, reporting and project documentation • Help resolve operational blockers by coordinating with the relevant functions Regional strategic support – CENE • Support regional sourcing initiatives across LPZ, FCZ and SCN • Analyse spend, savings, inflation, contract coverage and sourcing pipelines • Support the identification and development of regional sourcing opportunities • Prepare management reviews, action plans and decision documents • Coordinate regional projects involving sites, Commodity Management, Engineering, Quality and Finance • Support the development and monitoring of strategic initiatives such as India Sourcing, contract coverage and supplier consolidation Management and coordination support • Support the CEE Sourcing Director in preparing meetings, reviews and management presentations • Track decisions, actions, owners and deadlines across the regional agenda • Consolidate information from the sites and prepare concise management summaries • Organise and follow up on recurring governance routines • Provide analytical and organisational support for ad hoc management priorities • Act as a reliable coordination point between the CEE Sourcing Director, the site teams and regional stakeholders

Candidate profile • Master’s degree or advanced university studies in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering or a comparable field • Strong analytical and organisational skills • Comfortable working with data, Excel and Power BI • Structured, proactive and able to follow topics through to completion • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills • Fluent English; German is strongly preferred • Willingness to work on-site in Leipzig and collaborate across an international region • Interest in developing toward a strategic sourcing or regional coordination role Development opportunity The position offers broad exposure to operational sourcing, regional strategy and senior-management coordination. The VIE will work closely with the CEE Sourcing Director and the site teams and will gradually take ownership of selected regional initiatives.
