Embedded Software Validation Engineer (H/F)

The Position As part of the development of embedded solutions for electronic applications, we are looking for an Embedded Software Validation Engineer with strong skills in Python and embedded systems. Within an R&D team, you will be responsible for the validation of software and firmware developed for microcontrollers, with a strong focus on test automation and validation on electronic boards. You will work closely with Software, Firmware and Hardware teams to ensure the robustness, reliability and performance of the solutions being developed. Your Responsibilities - Define validation strategies and test plans for embedded software. - Design and develop test scripts and tools in Python. - Automate test campaigns and regression testing. - Deploy and execute tests directly on electronic boards and microcontrollers. - Control test equipment and target boards through various communication interfaces. - Analyze validation results and identify potential issues and anomalies. - Investigate issues encountered in embedded environments and contribute to their resolution. - Develop and maintain test automation frameworks. - Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of validation methods and tools. - Document test results and track issues in collaboration with development teams.

Technical Environment Python: scripting, automation and test tool development STM32 / Microcontrollers Embedded Software / Firmware Target-based validation and testing Board communication interfaces: UART, SPI, I²C, USB, Ethernet Functional, integration and regression testing Git Linux environment Knowledge of pytest, instrumentation tools or automated testing frameworks is a plus. Experience in embedded C/C++ development is also appreciated.
