Description de la mission
FLC is looking for a Junior Lean Process Engineer to join our continuous improvement efforts and optimize our production processes. The Junior Lean Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and improving our production cycles, reducing waste and inefficiencies and implementing Lean methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Lean principles, a high motivation to work directly on the shopfloor and first experiences in internships.
Who is FLC?
Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects.
Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.
Responsibilities:
•
Planning and implementation of improvement projects across our entire value chain in a close collaboration with other departments and experienced colleagues
•
Application of Lean methods for identifying waste and designing optimized processes (material flow analysis, value stream mapping or other process analysis methods)
•
Applying new ideas to improve material and logistics flows, design efficient processes and support the creation of optimized workplaces in an industrial mindset
•
Assist in monitoring process performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures, while learning how to drive accountability and measurable results
•
Analyzing and combining data sets to identify issues, process bottlenecks, process times, KPI deviations and opportunities for improvement
Profil recherché
Qualifications:
•
High motivation to work on the shopfloor with a hands-on and practical approach for optimizing construction processes from an industrial perspective
•
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business management or a related field
•
First experience with data analysis tools and dashboards (e.g. Power BI) is an advantage
•
Fluent in English - speaking and writing
•
Ability to identify waste and inefficiencies in processes and develop effective solutions
•
Analytical thinking, a willingness to learn and teamwork are key to developing and implementing solutions within interdisciplinary improvement teams
•
Motivation to develop and bring new Industrial ideas
