VIE Sécurité (H/F)

Safety officer with 3 to 5 years of experience on construction projects, supporting the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety requirements on site. Maintains a strong field presence to ensure work activities are performed safely and in compliance with project procedures and standards, Client requirements, and local regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting regular site inspections, following up on corrective and preventive action plans, participating in and monitoring management safety visits, pretask and prestart meetings, and monitoring the closure of identified observations and non-conformities. Safety officer will occasionally supports regulatory compliance through subcontractors audits and risk assessments on site. Safety officer will activively facilitate generale orientation for new comers on the project and monitor it. Promotes a positive safety culture through workforce engagement, preparation and delivery of toolbox talks, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with Construction team, Methods team, subcontractors and suppliers, and project management in Canadian environment, with international and multicultural teams. English speaking mandatory. Driving licence mandatory.
