Main responsibilities: - Support the delivery of sustainability and carbon reduction projects across the UK & Ireland in line with National Health Service (NHS) requirements. - Collect, analyse, and report environmental and vehicle carbon emission performance data. - Assist with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, sustainability assessments and benchmarking activities. - Work with teams across the business to identify and implement sustainability improvements. - Coordinate meetings, action plans and progress tracking for sustainability initiatives. - Create engaging communications and awareness campaigns to promote sustainable behaviours. - Support environmental management system activities and continuous improvement projects. About you Experience: - An interest in sustainability, environmental management, or ESG topics. - Experience working with data, reporting or project coordination would be beneficial. - Experience collaborating with different stakeholders or teams. - Previous internship, placement or work experience in sustainability, environment or business functions would be an advantage, but not essential. Soft and technical skills: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Curious, proactive and willing to learn. - Well organised with good attention to detail. - Able to manage multiple priorities. - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. - Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. - Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. - Ability to work with data and identify trends. - Interest in sustainability reporting and environmental performance. - Knowledge of ESG, carbon accounting or environmental management would be beneficial but is not essential. Education: - Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Geography, Climate Change, Business, Engineering, or a related subject. Languages: - Fluent English (written and verbal).
